If you’re near Sacramento, California and have been thinking of adding a new four-legged member to your family, head over to the Front Street Animal Shelter and pick up a furry friend – for free!
Now, it must be said that those who can’t otherwise afford adoption fees should reconsider whether they’re financially stable enough to properly care for a pet. Also, around this time of year, animals should not be considered “holiday gifts” to be spontaneously bought – and then returned. Also, all potential families will be screened, as per usual.
But for anyone who is prepared to welcome a new pet into the family, saving some money is certainly a bonus, especially around the holidays!
A generous, selfless donor has offered to cover the adoption costs of every animal in the shelter from now through December.
“Please help us thank Kim Pacini-Hauch for her tremendous act of kindness,” reads the The Front Street Animal Shelter Facebook page. Their goal, it says, is for all the pets to have homes for Christmas!
“All animals are free to adopt tomorrow through December 31st – Share to empty our shelter!!”
Right now, this shelter is particularly full of homeless dogs and cats. So if you or anyone you know is in the area and has been thinking about adopting a pet, head over to The Front Street Animal Shelter to meet your new best friend.
Kim Pacini-Hauch, you are giving dozens of families and animals the best gift of all: unending love and loyalty between two- and four-legged family members.
Share this story to help these animals – and those at your local shelter – find homes for the holidays!
