On Giving Tuesday (December 1), 100% of the proceeds from the sales of PetSmart’s Luv-A-Pet holiday collectibles Lucky and Chance plush toys, both in-store and online, will go directly to PetSmart Charities to help save the lives of more homeless pets – a first for PetSmart. PetSmart Charities funds life-saving programs across North America that supports more than 3,000 local rescue organizations. #4 – Pennsylvania SPCA
The Pennsylvania SPCA is asking their supporters to be a #VehicleForChange by helping raise funds for a transport vehicle to allow us to rescue more animals from cruelty and neglect on #GivingTuesday. The PSPCA rescues animals from across the region and beyond; but there are thousands more that they simply cannot reach, because they don’t have enough vans to safely transport them. #5 – Wellness Natural Pet Food & the Humane Society of The United States
Wellness Natural Pet Food has teamed up with The Humane Society of the U.S. to raise donations and food for the pets who need it most. On Tuesday, December 1, for one day only, each dollar donated to the Humane Society’s Pets for Life Program will not only help provide essential care (like vaccinations, medication and pet supplies) for pets in underserved communities, but also a bowl of food, donated by Wellness Natural Pet Food. #6 – BioUrn & Sweetpea Animal Rescue
This company has done their own giving back, and is now calling on you to do the same! Sweetpea Animal Rescue in Paxton, Massachuttes suffered a horrific fire last Sunday and lost over 50 of their resident animals who were waiting for adoption. BioUrn donated 10 of their tree urns to line a brick memorial path at the shelter for those pets lost in the fire. Sweetpea is going to rebuild and has launched a GoFundMe campaign, which is where you come in. This #GivingTuesday, Sochi Dogs is giving you something when you donate. Donate $30 or more to Sochi Dogs and you or a friend will receive a 25 oz bag of scrumptious dog treats! Sochi Dogs is a trailblazing non-profit committed to rescuing stray dogs and curbing the population of strays through education and spay/neuter programs. To donate, go here.
#8 – Monkey’s House
This small nonprofit rescue takes in senior dogs with severe medical issues that have been abandoned at shelters or when the owners pass away. As you can image, they have high vet bills! #9 – Bzees
This holiday season you can give a gift of shoes and support local animal shelters at the same time. Bzees, a footwear brand known for lightweight comfort, machine wash styles and fun fashion has launched it’s Fetching Hope Charity Network “I Am Not A Monster” Holiday Drive as a tribute to their mascot and Chief Canine Officer, Oliver. #12 – Skechers & Best Friends
Need some shoes for yourself or a gift? This Giving Tuesday, Skechers will be offering an price round-up for Giving Tuesday, allowing any customers who visit the store to round-up the total of their purchase, with the proceeds going to Best Friends Animal Society. Shop all the fun styles here.
#13 – Unleashed
Unleashed is a leadership development program for adolescent girls, transforming them into powerful change makers, using animal rights and welfare as their platform. Not only is it a unique approach to leadership; Unleashed rescues pups from urgent lists all across the country and has saved over 585 from being euthanized.
