Biography
Dr. Kathryn Primm was pleased to return home to the Chattanooga area and open Applebrook Animal Hospital in Ooltewah in 1998. She is a practicing small animal veterinarian and veteran blogger. She has consulted on articles for national magazines and has done numerous radio interviews and appeared on local television. She has contributed to an article for Woman’s Day in Feb 2014 and an upcoming piece for Prevention magazine for April 2015 and an additional article for Woman’s Day in summer.
Dr. Primm has spoken with students, pet owners and other veterinarians about effective communications and her passion for animals. She has a social media presence on Twitter, Facebook and Google+ and enjoys interaction with others about her passions, animals and communication. She is a regular contributor to Boomeon, the online community which can be found at www.boomeon.com .
Her current projects include KatNipsTV, an online video series to educate and amuse people who like animals and a regular blog, Animal Stuff You Wonder About, available online at kathrynprimmdvm.wordpress.com.
Tennessee Tails is her first book. The book received recognition as Runner Up in the Memoirs category at a national book festival. It is available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble.com, in paperback and digital. The next book is well underway with more stories about the animals Dr. Primm treats and the people who love them.
