Hi….Ms Foxxi Moxxi developed this discoloration on all her nail all nails last summer. My vet and never seen this so went to researched it and she came back with the info I found….
Bacterial or Fungal. We put her on antibiotics for 2 weeks and the color started going away….the vet put her on 2 more weeks and it cleared up completely. Now I see some nails are getting dis colored again! I have a feeling after she pees or poops she digs the dirt with her paws…I am trying to stop that but that wouldn’t actually affect the back paws! I may start wiping her her paws when we walk in but that can be a hassle too ! I am doing more research with the Univ of Tn Vet School and will post any new info. I really hate to put her on antibiotics again. Let me know what you find out! Blessings! -

This is generally a sign of yeast. Try to rub some organic extra virgin coconut oil on the nails and between the toes daily. I also feed about a teaspoon a day to my girl. You should also check the food for high starch content, try to stay away from potato. Is your pup getting grain free food and any other additional supplements? Salmon oil is great for skin and coat. Also make sure the feet stay dry if they are moist from being outside or swimming be sure to dry asap. Moisture creates yeast. Hope this helps!
