Hi My name is Tippy I am 18 months old and I did not have a very good start to my life .
Before I was born my Daddy was run over by a car so I only had a mummy .
When I was born I only had three legs and my owner wanted to use euthanasia on me .
I was so lucky that two people who are now my parents heard about me and adopted me .
Both my parents are retired so I am with them all the time and they take me every where .
I have one brother and two sisters that are much older than me . They are also rescue dogs .
I love playing with them .They are gentle with me as they know I only have 3 legs .
When I go for walks I have to ride in my stroller as I cannot walk very far .
I help the Animal Shelter in collecting money for dogs that are not as lucky as me .
I sit in my Stroller and people give me lots of loves .
Unfortunately a few weeks ago my Mummy noticed that I was not putting one of my hind legs on the ground . My parents took me to the Vet and he sent me to the Animal hospital . The surgeon discovered that I needed an operation on both my legs .
My parents were very upset as they only had enough insurance for an operation on one of my legs . The Surgeon said that if he operated on the better leg although not ideal I could manage on two legs .
I know that my parents are trying to raise money but it is very hard for them as they are retired . They have set up a Give a little page Tippy needs Surgery . They hope that lots of kind people will help .
My parents love me very much and I love them . They will do anything to help me and I don’t like to see them sad .
I have been lucky to have so much love and I am determined I will get better .
I hope that all my doggie friends like my story and to all of you lots of woofs and licks . Tippy xxxxAttachments:
