#2 – Crate

Some don’t like to crate train, but if you travel often with your pup we think it’s an excellent idea. Crates serve as a safe place for our dogs. Not only do they protect them from physical harm during car accidents or natural disasters, they give them a den-like area that makes them feel safe. If you’re staying in a strange place, your dog is likely to feel a little uncomfortable. Keeping her crated ensures she won’t run off looking for her real home, or to find you if you’re out, and she won’t do any damage to your hotel or host’s property.
