Stray Dog Who Followed College Dean Is Given A Job & His Own School ID

| Published on September 6, 2016

It’s so easy to fall in love with a dog. In addition to those irresistible puppy dog eyes that stare at you when they’re begging for food, their friendly nature and faithfulness make them perfect companions.

So when a dog started following a certain college dean in the Philippines, it was hard for him to just ignore the pup. The dean of the Colegio De San Lorenzo in Quezon City, Philippines saw the dog and joked that since he is always around, he should be issued an ID. And so he was!

The dog’s name is Enzo after the school’s patron saint, San Lorenzo. Since the day that Enzo was given an ID, his life instantaneously changed.

Enzo was no longer a stray dog. He got himself a job–he’s now the school’s “ambassadog” and security guard! Enzo roams and watches over the campus grounds at night together with the security guard.

Not only did Enzo get a job, but he also gained a very big family. The whole school became his family. The staff and the students feed him and care for him. He even has his own bed on the school campus!

Enzo is so lucky to have a very big family to take care of him. We are so thankful to the school for opening their hearts to this poor fella. You have given this dog a purpose, a home, and a family.

We sure hope that other schools will also do the same and inspire their students to be kind to animals.
