Formerly Abused Dog Gets To Lounge On A Couch For The First Time – And It’s Epic

For a dog that barely stood a chance of survival, it’s safe to say that she is quickly growing accustomed to a better life.

Meet Belle, a Pit Bull that was living a truly terrifying life as a bait dog. This sweet and loving dog was tortured and abused, but she was given a new lease on life after being rescued by the Animal Cruelty Task Force of Ohio. Her new owner, Steffen Baldwin, is the founder of Animal Cruelty Task Force of Ohio. And Steffen wants nothing more than to fill Belle’s life with happy days.

“It’s pretty clear she hasn’t had much time to lay around on furniture because she’s just not quite sure what to do with herself when she’s up there,” says Baldwin. “It warms my heart in a very special way to see her enjoying getting used to my house and exploring her environment, bit by bit.”
