#8 –  Made in USA, but sourced from ?

Where your dog food is made is important. We all know to not buy from China any longer, but you need to read your label carefully! Does it say made in the USA, manufactured in the USA, or something else? Does it tell you where the ingredients come from? Manufactured means the food is made here, but the ingredients are not necessarily from here. Made in the USA must contain all or “mostly” all ingredients from the US. Companies are supposed to put a disclaimer on their package if the ingredients are from another country, but not all follow these guidelines. If you can’t tell where the product and ingredients come from, don’t buy it.
