Everyone, meet Freya–a rescue dog who’s going to be a movie star!
Freya is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier who was brought into the Freshfields Animal Rescue as a stray. They were waiting for someone to come and claim Freya, but nobody ever came. Ever since that day, Freya has been waiting for someone to come and give her a forever home.

For 6 years, Freya has been waiting for her forever family to come. She has spent most of her life at the kennels. More than 50 of the other dogs at the kennel had already been adopted. But Freya has been rejected many times. And because of that, she was dubbed as “Britain’s Loneliest Dog“.

The staff of the Freshfields Animal Rescue were doing everything they could to find Freya a home. They describe Freya as a funny little girl. She loves to go on walks, and she has a fantastic personality.

To help Freya get a home, she was featured on ITV’s Good Morning Britain. Film director Michael Bay saw Freya in the news and decided to give her a role for his new Transformers movie!

Michale Bay is also a dog lover; he has two Bull Mastiffs. He tweeted, “Found this in the news last week in the UK. We gave the Loneliest Dog a role in Transformers. Freya has epilepsy and has been in a shelter her whole 6 year life. We are also going to find her a home. If not she will come to my house. Welcome to the cast Freya!”
