We love service dogs and working dogs. We are amazed at what they can do and we definitely appreciate the hardwork they put into their jobs. All these dogs had to go through training so they can have skills and mindset to do their jobs properly.
In the video below you will see the new recruits for the Australian Federal Police K9 Division! These adorable puppies have a long way to go before they can become certified K9 officers! They will have to undergo rigorous training that includes sniffing out illegal drugs and detecting dangerous weapons and bombs! But for now, these adorable furry K9 trainees are enjoying their day and having fun running around!
New RecruitsWe know you’ve been waiting for them, so after much anticipation, we welcome our newest recruits for 2016!
Barry, Charlie, Linda and Ralph are reporting for duty.
They might be small now, but they have larger-than-life policing careers ahead of them.
Our furry recruits will undertake vigorous training over many months, which will be as diverse as learning to sniff out currency, detect explosives or find illicit drugs.
Join us in wishing them luck!
