#9 – Strange Surfaces

Dogs are very tactile. Get them used to walking on all sorts of surfaces: carpet, concrete, tile, wood flooring, grass, gravel, etc. Things like manhole covers and metal covers on sidewalks can be surfaces dogs don’t want to walk on, so (as long as they aren’t hot to the touch) get your puppy used to walking over all those things.
