15 Best Dog Foods for Bullmastiffs with Allergies

Wow everyone has a different answer.
Everybody is different and will respond differently to each diet.. I sold high quality dog foods for years.
Your dog is an obligate carnivore. That means he is an opportunistic carnivore that can handle some vegetables in the diet. Feed him/her meat. Avoid grains and vegetables. NO POTATOES!!!!
NO SWEET POTATOES !!!!! they are pure simple sugars, high glycemic, that lead to yeast issues. Yeast infections present as itchy red irritated sometimes swollen skin, paws, and ears.
NO HUMAN FOOD, NO TABLE FOOD.
Meat only treats. No biscuits. They often contain wheat, vegetables, rice and other fillers.
Put live quality probiotic in your dog’s food. In the wild canine eat gross smelly dead decaying meats. This gives their digestive tract the bacteria it needs. We need it too. Ingest probiotics and you will have no gas. You can also add prebiotic. Prebiotic is just insoluble fiber. It allows the good probiotic to flourish.

Raw food has been brilliantly for my bullmastiff, raw turkey, white fish and venison. But we did have an allergy test done on both as they both were losing hair and licking paws and scratching their ears. Raw food is a game changer.

Do research on hot and cold protein. It is an eye opener. In short, hot protein allow for inflammation while cold protein does not.
Research nightshade vegetable. These vegetable cause inflammation, potatoes, tomatoes, eggplant, bell peppers. You and your dog want to avoid these if you have skin irritation, joint problems including arthritis etc.
Also avoid high glycemic food, that includes the food ingredients, have to read the labels.
Typically in dog food and many human foods the first 3 or 4 ingredients make up 90% of the product.
