Look at their diet. Always the main causes of skin problems. The cheaper grocery store brands may be easier on the pocket (or so you think!). Add in possible Vet visits, prescriptions, etc. Those cost will take you on and beyond what it would have, if you had gone with a higher end of petfood for your dog. Also as already mentioned mentioned, chicken and turkey may be a allergen along with other ingredients. If anything corn, soy, any by product, any wheat product, are the first ingredients, these are fillers with no real basis for protein. They are also culprits for skin problems. So what foods do you look at? Go to a reputable Pet store, not grocery. Look for higher end pet foods, for cats and dogs. Fish, Duck, Deer, Rabbit, are your best proteins. Taste of the Wild 32 percent protein, Blue Buffalo 37 percent protein. Acana, are to name a few. Omega are also very important in their diets, Omg 3, 6 and 9!
A Vet check would also be a good start. Make sure the skin problem is not mange, ringworm or flea dermatitis. To name a few.

you can use head and shoulders or Envirogroom skin relief (aloe vera shampoo) but look into what is causing the skin irritation. no chicken/turkey and make sure their not eating cat food and look into protein % on ur dog food. might be too high

Baby shampoo!! And look at the food, maybe you have to change it a few times….. Mine can’t eat raw proteins, so she gets now a food, without grains and special for seniors (she is 10), but it’s not out of meat, it’s insects, and she is so much better with this food!

I agree, most likely a diet problem. My last bully had an awful all over skin problem. I ended up feeding her cooked lamb/mutton with brown rice. It helped enormously

I bathe my lot with Johnson’s baby.
If they have dry irritating skin I use olive oil on their coats. So when they lick it it stimulates hair growth n with the skin bn moist it don’t seem to itch as much. My bulldog was over bred n list most her fur n was infected
