My 12 year old developed SIBO until I started making her food three years ago. ( I got her when she was 8.). Each week I prep 3 # of ground turkey, 2# of salmon and 2 containers of chicken liver. Some weeks I add ground beef or boneless chicken thighs. She also gets 10 sweet potatoes 2# of carrots and 4 cups of rice cooked in the broth of the above. This week I had a few beets and green beans I threw in the pot. She has not had SIBO once since we started this routine and her weight has stabilized.

Petsmart makes a bag it’s called simply nourish I saved 20 dollars switching from wellness to it. My dog only like the lamb, he’s allergic to chicken. He has a very sensitive tummy. Simply nourish is great because it’s one brand that has no chicken. Even in other branded dog foods they put chicken in there.

I had the same problem with mine! I think it’s fairly common in Danes. I would cook him plain scrambled eggs and add 2 tbsp of pumpkin. Plain pumpkin with no additives. Seemed to work like a charm for him!
