Wondering if your dog’s food is safe? If the food you have qualifies for any of the following red flags, it probably isn’t!

#1 – You buy it at The Grocery Store

If your dog’s food can be purchased an isle away from laundry detergent or car oil, don’t buy it. Known in the industry as “grocery store brands,” these are low-quality foods made by giant mulit-product manufacturers that know little about dog nutrition. Also, watch dog foods sold at the vet. They get “kick backs” for selling food from certain manufacturer’s and some are ruled more by their checkbook than they are by what’s good for dogs.
