I have been trying to help an older lady find a Chihuahua. There are a lot out there, but the only ones we’ve been able to find are Show Quality which are very expensive. She wants it to hold in her arms and cuddle, and be company for her. She is a widow and lives alone. She has no interest in breeding nor showing. I was thinking about an adult instead of a puppy, maybe one who is not show quality, or even a retired champion. We have tried all the rescues that we could find. We live in S.W. Virginia.
I hope some one out there will be able to help us.
      Thank You,
      Carol
