Hehey guys i have a 10 month old bassett hound and a 4 month old lab…they love each other but our babassett pete is VERY jealous when i go to pet ouourr lab waylon. Pete is also very stubborn and 2 times more hyper tham my lab….any tips on how to keep them busy so they arent so hyper and dig up my yard?
Also how do i help pete with the jealousy?

My Lissy will whimper and cry when our beagle gets attention and she doesn’t and Lissy will even try to block him if From us so he can’t get too close to us. I am not sure what to do with this myself but we do not let her away with the behaviour and still give them

Both love.For the stubbornness I find I have to try to trick or her or make a game out of something so I can get her to do what I want. One thing I have learnt with her if she doesn’t want to walk a certain way she will throw herself on the ground so after coaxing has not worked then I try different directions and when she likes the way I am going then she will get up again and finish our walk. So once she is up I slowly change the direction to get her home.
Food motivates them so that is something to always remember –
