My staffy has benn diagnosed with MMM

Hi all, my 11 year old staffy has been diagnosed with MMM, hes on a long course of steriods with seems to stablising him , his nouth is only opening enough to eat with from teeth, i was thinking of trying holisic theraphies. Has anyone elses dog had this condition. I feel like im just watching him fade before my eyes even though he still wags his tail and wants to go out on short walks, i wish he could talk to me 🙁
