Bichon Frise Food Recommendations Needed Please

This is my Booker! He’s 14! He is diabetic and has high blood pressure! We have him on Blue Buffalo small breed senior healthy living! He is doing great on it! It’s just chicken and veggies!

I feed a raw food diet, Primal pet food, and casper is doing wonderful at 11.

I always made mine. It was chicken, salmon, and ground beef (rotated) with rice, sweet potatoes or squash, broccoli, and pumpkin. She lived to be 19.

I had to put my Bichon down 2 years ago and now have an 11 month old Malshi. I can’t afford Farmers Dog but they have a DYI vitamin/mineral pack you can get to make your own. When you purchase these you get access to recipes on their site. I make them, vacuum seal in packages and freeze. A little bit of work but not too expensive. I also leave Merricks kibble out for her. She doesn’t eat much of that because I also share my breakfast eggs with her, cooked in coconut oil, maybe half an egg. And also homemade plain Greek yogurt with blueberries on yogurt day.

I feed homemade food as a topper to Badlands Ranch or Ziwi Peak.

I feed my girls nothing but Halo! Just had my 14 year old to the vet and he said she might make it to 18 or 20! I never overfeed my girls! I want them in my life as long as possible!

Hills Dental Care (15-18 dry biscuits) and mixed with two teaspoons of cooked chicken and vegetables – twice a day.

Just food for dogs!

We always fed ours high end dry with a quality moist like Fresh Pet. It was always a game to get her attention, usually by smell.

I feed raw. It actually is way less expensive than kibble!

Hill’s science diet work the best for my bichons.

Blue Buffalo grain free & we buy-the Senior our Bichon just turned 13 , she has done very well BUT we have only ever gave her bottled water.
