1. Rent a Boat
Take a cruise down the river at sunset with just you, your sweetheart, and your dog(s). Bring a picnic dinner and a treat for the four-legged guests. It will make for the perfect evening.

Window shopping in the evening, with all the city lights, coffee in hand, and pup in tow can be quite romantic. Maybe stop at a dog-friendly café for a decadent dessert.
