My given name is Daisy Mae. You have seen my story and I have had a great life with my dad, mom, bratty Husky sister Sasha and butthead brother Doberman Ares. My cat housemates Bandit, Sweet pea, Spot and Stanley are just there. Any ways I was doing really good and living a great life here in the SFV but back on Feb 5, 2016 I was diagnosed with osteosarcoma in my left rear leg. My dad was very scared but he assured me that he would do anything to help me. Within a week I was at the scary hospital to have the cancer and the hurt in my leg taken away.

They amputated my left rear leg but all the pain was gone. It took me a while to heal and get used to having only three legs but my sister Sasha and little brother Ares never let me feel down or left out. My dad still took me on walks and let me chase the street cats and squirrels. My mom always made sure that I was warm and comfy with an afghan she knitted for me. Then on July 6th the doctors saw that the cancer had spread to both my lungs….

I crossed the rainbow on the 13th of July in my daddy’s arms with Sasha and Ares next to me at home in my afghan blanket on my bed. Daddy cried and cried.. he was very sad but now I watch him from heaven and let him know that I’m not in any pain and there are lots of squirrels to chase. I miss my family and they miss me but I let them know that all is well now. Cancer might have beaten us this time but love will always win.
