Hi all! My family and I just adopted Baxter and he is only 3 months old. The pound did not have a clue what he was but I have had 2 friends that work in the animal field tell me that he looks to be a plott hound…his ears to me look like a terrier so maybe a mix? Thank you so much for any reply! Let me know if you need more pictures!

We had a Plott Hound at my local animal shelter and he had very long ears and was very large. He DID have that beautiful brindle coat like your dog, but I personally don’t think yours is a Plott Hound…or at least full blooded one. He’s gorgeous though and should make you happy for years to come. Check out the FB page called Jed’s Journey to see the one we had. He’s now living a life of luxury in Michigan I believe.
