Weather.com reports the amazing story of Jon Byler Dann and his family. After his home was demolished by the recent Tornado in Illinois, he was all but sure the family dog, Maggie, was dead. Jon even went so far as to post the sad news on Facebook, telling friends and family they had lost their beloved pet.
But a full 30 hours after the home was leveled, the unbelievable happened!
As family friend we’re still searching through the rubble, they heard a very faint bark. They immediately starting digging!
Amazingly, they uncovered Maggie who had been protected by a piece of carpet.
Maggie was alive!
The reunion between Jon and Maggie is absolutely heartwarming!
