An 8-month-old Yorkie named Coco was let out into the yard, while her owners settled in the living room. Moments later, a sudden scream from their daughter startled them, followed by the sound of the door opening as she rushed to bring Coco back inside. The tiny dog had a laceration along her belly, accompanied by other scrapes and scratches. Curious and worried, the family reviewed footage from their doorbell camera, which revealed the startling events that had transpired outside…

The Yorkie was swooped up right from the back porch by a bald eagle! The sound of the pup yelping is chilling, but the little girl ends up escaping the eagle’s claws to run away. After three days of veterinary care, Coco was as good as new. So lucky! But it’s something they now need to be aware of in the future when letting the little dog go outside.
