An 8-month-old Yorkshire Terrier named Coco experienced a terrifying ordeal that left her family in shock. After being let outside for a moment, Coco’s owners retreated to the living room, only to be startled by their daughter’s scream. Rushing to open the door, they brought Coco back inside, quickly noticing a distressing laceration along her belly, accompanied by various scrapes and scratches marring her small frame.

The mystery of what had transpired during those few moments outside was soon unraveled by footage from the doorbell camera. The video provided a clear and harrowing account of the events that led to Coco’s injuries, shedding light on the unexpected danger she encountered right in her own yard.

The Yorkie was swooped up right from the back porch by a bald eagle! The sound of the pup yelping is chilling, but the little girl ends up escaping the eagle’s claws to run away. After three days of veterinary care, Coco was as good as new. So lucky! But it’s something they now need to be aware of in the future when letting the little dog go outside.
