Mia encountered Tido under heartbreaking conditions; the puppy was confined to a grim and neglected cage, an environment so dismal and dark it stirred Mia’s compassion to its core. Unable to bear the thought of leaving him in such a state, Mia made an immediate decision to adopt Tido, offering him a chance at a new life. Upon arrival at his new, forever home, Tido was introduced to Sola, Mia’s other dog.

Unbeknownst to both canines at the time, this meeting was the beginning of a deep and enduring bond. They were, though they did not yet realize it, on the verge of becoming the closest of companions, truly doggy soulmates destined to share their lives and adventures together.

Sola took to the tiny puppy as if she was his mother, and that was exactly what Tido needed. Within a few days, the dogs were so closely bonded it was as if they were put on this planet just to find each other. Then, suddenly, there was a tragic turn of events.

Tido had his first seizure. Mia raced the little puppy to the vet where he was diagnosed with canine distemper. The vet gave him a 5% chance of survival. Mia was devastated. Tido was released from the clinic and went home where Mia continued treatment. Sadly, Sola and Tido had to be separated. Sola waited outside the room Tido stayed in. She was heartbroken.

True to the beautiful devoted dog that she is, Sola waited outside Tido’s door day after day. She wouldn’t budge. She understood that Tido needed her close by even if they had to be separated by a door. This sweet happy ending story is so touching and cannot be missed! We are so grateful that these sweet dogs found one another.
