iHeartdogs works closely with The Greater Good by donating part of each sale to their various charity efforts. One of the charities, Rescue Bank, works to donate quality dog food to shelters and rescues who are in need. The Unleashed Love Pet Rescue is just one of the many rescues that benefit from the generous efforts of the Greater Good’s Rescue Bank. Unleashed Love Pet Rescue is a foster based program in the Grand Rapids area that works to rescue stray animals, shelter animals, and those who need a bit of TLC before they find a forever home.
The dedicated fosters and volunteers at the Unleashed Love Pet Rescue give their all to the many rescues that come through their program, and they do so with the help of generous charities that support their effort. Without your purchases and donations, dogs like Dalton may not be able to receive the help they so desperately need.
Dalton’s history is somewhat of a mystery. He came into the care of the Unleashed Love Pet Rescue covered in scars and with a vague history of where he came from.
From Dalton’s records it appears that he was first surrendered to a shelter, then sent to work in a prison program, then ultimately sent to a boarding facility. With constantly being shuffled from place to place, you can only imagine how badly he craved a stable home to call his own.
Once Dalton was rescued, he spent 6 months in a loving foster home. Though this might have been his first experience in a stable environment, he deserved a family who’s world revolved around him. Luckily for Dalton, the Unleashed Love Pet Rescue refused to give up until they found his forever family.

After patiently waiting for 6 long months, Dalton was finally adopted by a loving family who saw all the love and loyalty Dalton had to offer. Dalton now spends his days with his doggie brother and three little girls who absolutely adore him. It may have been a long journey, but Dalton finally got the happy ending that he always deserved!
