Foxy came to All Species Kinship’s (ASK) through their direct-outreach service for outside dogs. Foxy struggled to maintain adequate body weight, due both to her guardian’s financial status and lacking understanding of how much one should feed a dog.

The ASK team started their engagement by providing her with intermittent food support and straw, along with guardian-engagement on a positive transition to a house dog. Thanks to GreaterGood.org’s Rescue Bank, she didn’t have to struggle any longer to get adequate meals; however, it became apparent that her energy level exceeded that of the households, and she was surrendered to ASK. Foxy was adopted by a new family whose activity level was a better match for her, and she now lives inside as a beloved companion.
