A three-year-old Saint Bernard/ English Bulldog mix named Cinnamon got rescued after her owner posted a chilling plea on Facebook asking for someone who can shoot her dog.
The dog owner, a woman from Texas, posted the exact words on Facebook:
“I need someone to come shoot my dog, nobody here has the heart to do it! We will provide the gun!”
The post angered a lot of netizens and the family is now under fire.
Fortunately, the post was shared by many and it reached Nicholas Pet Haven, who immediately took the dog into custody. The family had posted on Facebook that the reason why the woman wants to get rid of the dog is because she gets into the trash. Can you believe that? What a ridiculous reason!

Thankfully, Cinnamon was picked up by Smith County Animal Control officers.
Now Cinnamon has a foster home and a foster family who is taking care of her and keeping her safe. She will stay with them until she finds a loving forever home.
