Thanks To Customers Like You, Puppy Survives Parvo And Awaits A Forever Home

| April 10, 2018

Part of each sale through the iHeartDogs store is donated to Greater Good Charities, which helps support various charitable programs. Thanks to customers like you, happy endings, like the one below, are made possible.

Rumor, a four-month-old Husky/red Doberman, and her Siberian Husky mom, Demi, came to Tina’s Bed and Biscuit Rescue from Texas. They were intercepted on their way to a kill shelter and flown to Tina’s in Michigan. Upon arrival, Rumor became deathly ill with Parvo. Her treatment cost $3,400, leaving this little rescue in a bit of a bind.

Rumor survived Parvo, and today is once again eating solid food. She loves her PetSmart Charity’s food donated by Greater Good Charities GOODS (formerly Rescue Bank) program!  After being spayed, the search for her forever family begins!

According to Tina’s Bed and Biscuit:

“Rescue Bank could not have arrived at a better time! Just when we were getting low on food, and our funds depleted by Rumor’s emergency medical issue, Rescue Bank came through with food, and our rescue can continue to care for our current dogs, and also take in a few more!

Thank you, Rescue Bank!!! You are a lifesaver, literally!”
