My Min Pin Minnie is 10 years old, she has allergies and has been on rounds of antibiotics and steroids multiple times, the vet wanted to put her on daily allergy shots, that’s when I went to the library and got books on dogs and allergies, found out a lot of dogs are allergic to grains, so I put her on a grain free, limited ingredient diet, we moved way up north, I can’t get the food I used to buy for her up here, she is breaking out again, I am feeding her the Purina Beyond, I also feed her a lot of just meat, but I quit feeding her homemade hamburgers because I think the fat content in them were making her sick, any suggestions are welcome, TY
Also I give her Benedryl but I really don’t like to give her medicine,

Amazon have subscriptions on some dry dog foods, wainwrights is what I feed my American bulldog on who has yeast problems. They deliver either every 1,2 and I think 3 months. You maybe able to find the brand you used to use or certainly a similar good quality one. They deliver free if u subscribe.

      Hope this helps

Ps, feeding raw is another alternative at least u know what is going into your dogs bowl.

Linda, I rescued a dog with these same health problems. She is allergic to everything! If you have a feed store near you, they will have raw for dogs. The raw is all natural, no grains. I feed only raw to this dog now and she is doing fine! Please try it.

My Min Daschund suffered miserably from allergies. We spent hundreds of dollars on medications and shots. But to no avail. we took up Ll the carpeting and put in hardwoods. We changed his food to a new brand called Zignature which is gluten free. The change has been incredible. No more incessent itching. No more wasted dollars on medications that don’t work. Now we have our happy puppy back; with the occasional dose of Benadryl.
Hope this works as well for Minnie. Good luck.

I dont think Purina is the best dog food brand. I’ve never been recommended it in any pet store. Try Natural Balance -Limited Ingredient Formula. Order it online. They’ll deliver anywhere

I would recommend getting Dr Karen Beckers book on raw feeding. Stay away from Steroids and Antibiotics, they wont help, only cover the issue. Most dogs cant process grain and in trying to it stresses out their system.
      Raw all the way
