Best flea product for Chihuahua

None! As far as ticks and fleas…I use cedar essential oil and rub a few drops on my hands and put on an area of the pup they can’t lick out off. I also place cedar chips in my yard to keep fleas and ticks away. The drops work well for pups an humans.

Bravecto, and Pro Heart 12 for heart worms.

The vet I go to put my 2 dogs on NexGard Plus. That takes care of fleas, ticks, heart worms , hookworms , round worms. They have no issues with any of the pests.

I use the Seresto for my Chihuahua. Goes by weight.

I have a Chihuahua mix and also a lab and I use Simparica trio. It’s a monthly chewable and it covers everything but can only be purchased with a prescription from your vet.

I just found out you can buy capstar on Amazon about $30. Diatomaceous earth and clove powder for all rugs, mattresses, furniture etc. Wash all lin we ns in hot and dry on hot. Capstar starts killing fleas within 30 minutes. But you have to get the carpets etc as well. Also you can give more than one dose in a week…read the directions of course. Check with your vet.

Credelio tick and flea pill it kills fleas and keeps them off of them I used all the flea remedies they don’t work of course giving them a bath kills most of them but they get right back on them this fleas pill has never made my Chihuahua sick or anything!

I buy seresto flea collars 8 months it lasts on dogs and cats , they carry them for all size dogs ,Walmart, $19.99 plus tax, my cat and my dog never had skin issues since using this product, hartz made them bleed , I’ve never ever had issues with this brand for flea and mosquitoes and ticks and lice , can take baths while wearing collar
