My blue staff, Beau, since a pup, she has put paws up on my shoulders and Nuzzled in, pushing my head from one side to other, she two now and has started doing this after barking at strangers and noises, her head generally gets higher than mine as she curls around my shoulders, I’ve been warned this could be her dominating. Your thoughts?

Nothing to do with being dominant, dogs are not trying to take us over, many don’t have solid boundaries and these dogs are often called dominant.

If you are happy with your dog giving you this type of cuddles then let her, the barking could be lack of confidence which is why she is cuddling into you. I like to cuddle when I am frightened and so do my dogs.
