      Why do so many so called dog lovers cut their dogs ears so they stand up? Doberman, Great Danes and Boxers have naturally floppy ears why do they cut them exposing the tender inside which would be protected.We have stopped tail docking in UK so why dont the Americans stop this barbaric custom? It’s bad enough that people dress up their dogs like idiots can’t they leave the poor animals bodies alone?

      I also agree! I don’t think dogs should be altered for cosmetic or “breed standard” reasons at all.

      I agree as well. I had a Schnauzer and I refused to crop her beautiful ears or tail. Now I have one of her pups (that is now 10 years old) and he looks gorgeous just the way he is.
