I have 2 small, one very small female Yorkies. Although I share a house with my mother (she has the top floor, I have the bottom), I have recently taken a part-time job which may turn into Full time. My problem is the dogs will not eat if I am not in the house. 10 mins after I am home, after ‘cuddles’ they will both start in on their biscuits. Is this normal, and what happens if I am out of the house for 10 hours a day while working. Please note that they are not left on their own they are with my mother but they won’t eat with her.
Any suggestions

My crazy little boy is the same way!!! Even if another family member feeds him instead of me doing it, he won’t eat it until i go to his bowl with him!! Nutjob!! Lol!! BUT, if I’m away,he will eventually eat for them. Just keep a good routine of feeding at the same times during the day and survival instinct will kick in. They won’t starve themselves.
