My name is Ella and I am almost 4 years old. My life is good now but it wasn’t always. I am not sure why, but I was not adopted when the rest of my litter mates were so I was left in a stall in a barn all alone for the first ten months of my life. Then I was adopted by a backyard breeder and had puppies before I was 2 years old even though I had a heart murmur. For some reason after my puppies were all gone, the breeder didn’t want me anymore. I was so scared of everything and I didn’t know how to play at all. Then a lady came to see me and she brought a big old boxer boy with her. The big boy didn’t upset me like the other female boxers did, so a few days later the lady came back and put me in the car and took me home. I wasn’t housebroken but the lady was patient with me and I learned. I spent 10 months with the big old boy and then he was gone and I was lonely again even though the lady was there so I got scared again. The lady took me to obedience classes and I got treats there when I did things right, and I did lots of things right.

I was still lonely so the lady went and got me a new boxer boyfriend from a rescue organization. Now we both live with the lady who loves us very much. I have learned to play with toys, I am housebroken and I like to snuggle with the lady …….. she seems to like it too. I still get scared sometimes but I know the lady will always love me no matter what.
