My boy needed to lose weight so I put him on Skinners for working dogs, low calorie variety, he has hit his target weight so swapped to Skinners for older dogs/maintenance. He enjoys it and is looking good

The only food that agrees with my two with very sensitive stomach’s is Harringtons chicken and rice. One of the cheapest but the vet says there is nothing wrong with it. Doesn’t have to be expensive to suit the stomachs

We were using IAMS but the store was out and went to Purina Pro for joint health. He eats it slower and it lasts longer. He’s finally losing weight (we were giving him the recommended amount of IAMS and was overweight)

I think the comments of “my lab loves it” are hilarious. I’ve had many labs over the years and would say I’ve never know a lab to NOT love food. Lmao. That being said we used to use Purina and they would have soft stools all the time so we switched to Merrick grain free and all’s good so far. Yes they love it.

We have had fifty years of two dogs at a time and most lived past 15 on Pedigree.

Ok, I make my labs food, 1 lb white rice, 1 whole chicken ground (bones and all), 2 bags veggies, and beef or chicken broth.
1 cup of the made food, 2x a day -

Wellness whitefish for kibble and 1/3 can per meal of Wellness canned dog food (chicken stew, venison & beef hearty cuts, etc)
We have decided to add one tsp plain, no sugar added, yogurt per meal as well which will help with his breath supposedly. He has fishy breath from the kibble but that is what works bedt for him for his coat, skin sensitivities etc -

Our vet recommended Purina ProPlan or Hill’s Science Diet. I feed him Purina ProPlan Lamb and Oatmeal- he has a chicken AND rice sensitivity.

First Mate. It’s very meat dense so they don’t require as much and it’s the only food I don’t have to put anything in for them to eat it. They love it

Canidae all life stages. They just started this to change it up. Was feeding them Purina pro plan for all ages. I have an 11 year old and also 2 year old. I don’t want to keep buying 2 different foods.

Taste of wild ancient grains. Roasted bison and venison then roasted Lamb at other times. Also prime raw with it. Just about 1/3 to 1/4 cup.

Lily’s kitchen dry food. Occasionally she has cooked chicken and also salmon with her dry food. Everybody says how good she looks for nine and how beautiful her coat is. She also has a Vetzyme tablet a day for her joints.
