Great Customer Service from a Dog Food Company

Hi all!
I was on another forum recently & we were talking about dog food companies & how they respond to inquiries from the buying public. For example, VeRUS… when I fist started looking for a QUALITY, AFFORDABLE dog food to replace my homemade dog food, I contact several dog food companies that are supposed to be the best/safest. I found a list of companies with no food recalls, and contacted those who still had a clean record – the original list had 15 companies, by the time I read the list 3 had issued recalls, 2 had no way to contact, and I contacted the rest. I received no response from 3, coupon offers for up to $3 off from 6, and one company that wanted to send me free samples. That Free Sample company was VeRUS.
Within a few days, I had a package from VeRUS with several sample bags from 2 of their dog food formulas. One of these formulas was fish-based – and smelled like fresh fish when I opened it. the other is a chicken=based food, and it had NO noticeable smell. NONE! No burned feather smell or dehydrated icky scent. It didn’t smell like anything at all to my nose.
I now feed VeRUS’ Advanced Opticoat to my 2 dogs. This is a fish-based formula. I order it thru PetFlow by the 30 pound bag and when we’ve gotten to the bottom of the bag a month or so later, it STILL smells like fresh fish.
