I have a 7yo welsh corgi. Every July he gets a itchy bald spot in the exact same spot (every July) the vet said it was just allergies and to give him Benadryl. It fixes it, but doesn’t prevent it. Anyone else have this problem and ways to prevent it?

My now 11 year old corgi every September would develop the same hot spot on the top of her head, would get infected, needed special drying powder, antibiotics, etc. The vet agreed that it was caused by seasonal allergies. About 7 years ago I heard about Springtime, Inc., making and selling holistic remedies for horses and dogs. Started Maggie on Fresh Factors chewable, one a day with her food and she has not had any issues since then. Also use the Bug Off Garlic tabs for flea and tick prevention and joint health tabs. She has been happy and healthy since! Good luck. Janet, Boxford, MA
