I don’t understand why my 6 year old male, neutered, Malty (Max) will let me know when he has to go outside to pee, but not to poop. Most of the time he poops inside in various places. I’ve only had him a year-and-a-half. Adopted after a family member passed away. Thanks!

      1) Keep an eye on her for “signs” that’s she needs to #2. Sniffing, turning in circles, going back to previous locations, etc, then quickly leash her with a verbal command like “ok. let’s go potty” and take her outside. Lots of “good girl’s”, and treat when she messes outside.

      2) Walk her longer till she goes. If she doesn’t, bring her back in, keep an eye on her, and then take her back out in like 5 minutes or so. (ps: my dog poops right after her meals, so see when she’s doing it)

      3) Check the environment where she’s being walked to make sure there are no reasons that may be scaring her, or worrying her about doing #2 outside.

      Good luck.

We had problems with our dog also. He used to pee or poop inside of our house all the time when left alone. Both my husband and I work a lot and had no time to take our Pringles to dog training classes. We asked one friend who works in foster care (he is always surrounded by dogs) what we should do. He has recommended me this http://bit.ly/2mEtrfc online dog trainer. It’s cheap but it delivered the needed result, we are not ashamed to invite some guests over anymore
