My 5 year old cocker has 2 different lumps one under the skin about the size of half a thumb is not attached to anything but seem thick and the other lump is the size of a human little nail on the skin kinda like a massive human mole like the ones you can get burnt of but my dogs is red and fat. Is it normal for cockerel to get growths like this?
The larger lump is booked into get removed in a few days but while giving him a hair cut just now we found the other one and now really concerned. He’s only 5 very active and happy. When he got his check up at the vet the other day his temp was high also 39.2 but vet wasn’t to concerned

Hi I know it’s been a few months however I would like to share my Leia’s story with you. She is a 4 year old English golden cocker spaniel who presented with similar symptoms- high temp lumps. A few months later she developed peritonitis from a ruptured duodenal ulcer which couldn’t be explained from eating anything unusual. We have since found she has mast cell tumours in her nose and throat which likely caused this stomach condition to occur. So I would be investigating further as my vet also didn’t look into it further as she was young and active and not the usual breed to get this type of cancer. Sorry to scare you but better to be safe than sorry ❤️
