HI since i got my german shepherd at 5 months I took her to the dog park ALL the time and it was weird because she never once acknowledged or played with any dogs, i thought maybe with time she’ll get used to it, so every week we went 3 times a week and she would just sit or lay next to me and i would move or pet other dogs hoping she would interact. As she got older she started attcking the dogs that got near me, she loves to play and will play when dogs are present but as soon as they come to meet her she snaps and tries to bite them. How do i fix this please ?! I really want her to be friendly with dogs and not attack them when they get near hwr

Just because she’s young doesn’t mean she wants to play and interact with other dogs…. just like some people, some are more social and some aren’t. She could be a complete “working” dog and not have a playing mentality with other dogs. Don’t push her into something she doesn’t like!! Dog parks aren’t for every dog. She just wants to play with you and not much of a dogs dog!! Nothing is wrong with her, it’s just what she prefers!
