My “dog” is more like a cat, he loves salmon, canned tuna in oil(strained) canned chicken, cat food, raw carrots. He also catches mice, but he doesn’t eat them. He’s 12 years old and very healthy. He also loves cheese.

Dogs will not starve themselves. Set the food down at breakfast and wait 10 minutes. If they don’t eat, lift it. Feed again at dinner, if they don’t eat within 10 minutes pull it again until the morning. We’ve fostered over 100 dogs and have dealt with tons of “picky” eaters. A lot of the time it’s because they know they can access whenever they want so they graze. This is a bad habit.

Pet Fresh – my doggo is extremely picky and not food motivated. This food works well for him. He also loves Rachel Rae’s lamb stew – works great when I have to pill him.

Merrick raw infused kibble! My dogs usually eat the beef and lamb but have had a couple other flavors if the beef wasn’t available!

Pure pet food online, natural ingredient’s with no nasties in it. My pooch loves it and she is 14 years old now and such a fussy eater but not since being on pure. The vet and everyone else can’t believe her age.

Pet fresh Vital wet food mixed with your dry food. If your dog won’t eat it at first, bag it and put it away in the fridge for later. When it’s time to eat , they get it in their bowl again. It may take a few days, but your dog will understand that this is what they are going to get .

Stella and Chewey’s freeze dried meat meals. Rabbit, chicken, beef, turkey, duck, salmon all great. Recommended by our vet. Stores for a long time in cabinet. Not really expensive since our size dogs eat so little.

I have the same at home with my senior girl
And she loves when I share my meals with her but sometimes she don’t even want that
      So
She does love rotisserie chicken …..chicken nuggets….fried chicken…
I remove all skin so she gets the flavor but not the seasoning otherwise lady gets tummy issues
She does like steak but I cut that up real tiny or again she gets stomach issues
She does not get these items by themselves it gets mixed in with a dry dog food and some wet dog food.
She is about 17yrs old and I have had her since she was 5.
      We are growing old together

We use Fromm dry. One Boston is good about eating, but the other is very picky. I started putting a teaspoon of Blue’s topper on their dry food. So far, it’s working. I don’t want them to get too crazy! I use one tsp in the evenings, so the packet of toppings lasts three days. In the am, Fromm alone. We do give eggs, bananas, etc. to them, but it’s a special treat. I just want them to be healthy.

My picky dogs love Primal freeze dried nuggets. Venison is their favorite. I have tried for so long to find something I don’t have doctor up to get them to eat. Finally!! AND the itching and licking has stopped without getting an allergy shot.

Our dog isn’t picky. He has eaten Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula dry dog food his entire life. He knows no difference and he loves it and eats with gusto. He is thriving. My personal opinion: the more options dogs are given, the pickier they become. Start them on a quality dog food when they are puppies and don’t ever them human food and you will have a pup that loves his dog food.

My yorkie likes Purina One. But her love is Cesar’s filet mignon with bacon and potatoes. Wet food. She’s only 6 lbs so she’s not a big eater.

Chicken livers ground up with veggies ground up as well.Any meat leftover from meals along with eggs and veggies, some rice here and there. They don’t like dry dog food at all. Slip in some fruits. No grapes, tomatoes , onions or garlic.
