Phantom pregnancy?

every time my Yorkie x comes into season she takes to her bed and fills it with toys shoes and anything else she can get hold of and treats them like her babies. She is getting worse the older she gets, she is 8 now and did have a litter of pups when she was about 2. What can I do to stop her.
