Hi all im new to this site and need some help, before 3 weeks ago I had 2 cats and nearly a 4 year old rottie in Oct, he is my BFG swear we had the cats first cause my partner had them, then we got he nearly 4 years ago and he wouldn’t hurt a fly, one cat licks him the other bullys him if he comes close and Rio wouldn’t hurt either, but now we have a nearly 3 week old baby now in the house and Rio is far to excited and we have him in the kitchen while Amy is in the living room and I feel really guilty for him, cause he was our baby before our Amy turned up but when is it good to introduce them to each other, thanks gary

I introduced both my rotties to both my babies the day I brought them home. They were a little excited because they knew something was up when I disappeared for a couple of days to give birth. But when I got home I set my daughter in her chair on the couch and let them come over to check her out. My big male just licked her feet and laid down! My female wanted a closer look and smell but I was sitting there and made sure it went great!! I never had any problems with my dogs and each baby that came home! With the proper supervision it should go great!

I introduced my rotties to my first child the day that I brought him home. We had a female and a male rott, and both were so excited to see our new baby. Within a few minutes both settled down. My female hardly ever left our sons side and our male would stay away at a distance but kept a watchful eye on our son. My female was super protective of him and would always have to lay by his bed or swing. If he made a whimper or moved she would alert me to come and see what was wrong. The only issue that we encountered was when our son started crawling. One day he crawled up to our male and pulled at his leg while he was asleep. This startled our male and he growled at our son.
