  my Shih Tzu just turned 11. I noticed that his tail is thinning a lot. Is this normal for a shihtzu as they get older? Or could this be a sign of some disease? Thanks!

  I had a Shih Tzu that lived to be 15. Her tail never thinned. It is the summer, so she could just be shedding. If it continues, I’d go to the vet.
