OMG, I've Had So Many Surprises!

Its funny how things work out sometimes. After I was born, I was put in a cage. My sister and I were the only babies my mother had. My sister and I were very close and loved to play with each other. When I was 8 weeks old, I was taken away from my mom and sister by a couple. They named me Lambeau and kept me locked up all day. They were frustrated with me… I was put on craigslist a couple days later. They really wanted rid of me. Luckily, there was someone out there that found me. I was driven to a Walmart parking lot and handed off to a stranger quickly when I was 9 weeks old. Going from one place to another made me very scared. On our way to my new home, I realized how loving my new daddy was. I began to play and kiss him. When we got home, my daddy played with me all day and fed me lots of goodies. I heard a car door that day and daddy handed me to my new grandma. I saw him grab a bone and take it outside. He knelt down on one knee in front of a girl. He asked her to Marry him! She said Yes! My daddy ran back and picked me up. As he walked me closer to my new mommy she burst into tears! Was I my Mommy’s engagement ring? Yes! I was worried about mommy crying so much so I started giving her lots of kisses. It was love at first sight. I heard Mommy and Daddy saying lots of different names, but the only one I got excited about was, Brutus. My name is Brutus! I think it fits me well. I will always remember October 23rd.
A couple days later I heard my mommy on the phone with a man. She had my paperwork in her hands. She was asking him all kinds of questions about me. She wanted to know all the shots that have been done and by who, she asked him about what Breed I was mixed with, and lots of other stuff. I heard her say something about ‘taking her’. After she hung up, she came right to me and loved on me. The next day, my mommy left me with my daddy and was gone nearly all day. When she came home, she had my SISTER! I was sooo excited! We played for a long time. I found out that my grandma and grandpa had adopted my sister. This meant I could see her all the time! It was one of the best days ever!
I was always so excited to see my sister, but when I went back home with my mommy and daddy, I was a little bored. Having no one to play with that is as energetic as me at home, made me bored. My mommy and daddy saw it in my face, so for Christmas, I got a New little sister! She is a German Shepard. Her name is Riley. We have loved each other from day one. I can’t sleep without being right next to her (Sometimes right on top of her). I have never been happier and I know I am Loved very much!
