I went to the Doggy Park a couple days ago for the first time. I was nervous when all the other doggies started coming around my sister and I, but I soon saw how much fun they were having, so I joined in! First, I decided to go to every owner and say hello. They loved me! A couple of them didn’t see me come up, so I decided I would push my head into them until they decided to pet me. Once I said hi to all the humans, I decided to play with my Furry friends. I had a blast! I made friends with so many new doggies.
Near the end of my visit to the Park, I heard a scream. I ran from one side of the park to the other to figure out what happened. All the humans gathered around a really small human. She was crying. I think she had fallen down. I saw my mommy coming after me… Saying my name and daddy holding back my sister, but I couldn’t just leave this girl while she was crying. I pushed my way through all the humans and went up to her and started giving her lots of kisses. One of the Big humans picked her up as my mommy finally got to me and picked me up. We went in different directions, but I kept my eye on that little girl. As soon as mommy put me back down, I ran all the way over to the bench where the little girl was sitting and sat right next to her. I wasn’t going to let her fall again. My mommy and daddy just watched me the whole time.
Eventually, the little girl left with her family. I watched her until she got into the car and then decided to go play with my sister and new friends again. I could tell my mommy was very proud of me, but she wasn’t happy I didn’t listen to her when she called my name. I did end up getting a treat when we got home though! It was a great day, but I sure was tired and fell right asleep.Attachments:
