is she only the dog in the house?
He is having anxiety issues and the only way I know to get rid of it is to let her interact with other dogs. Are you not spoiling her too much?

I am so sorry to hear you are having anxiety issues with your sweet baby. If she is reacting to a particular person, who she is normally good with – something has happened with that person. As your care giver if something may have occurred. Just like human children, if they feel unsafe with someone, they will display anxiety. I volunteer with a rescue as well as am the pawent of several rescue’s who where abused. Don’t force your pup to go with anyone they feel uneasy with. Spend time with YOU and your care giver to see your pups interaction. This breaks my heart – the use of lavender oil helps my most anxious pups as well as playing music. Best of luck to you and your sweet girl, I hope you can reassure her fears. PS – Don’t worry about “spoiling”. You can never give too much love. Cheers………..

Your pet is like a child, and children will tell you of a problem even when they cannot speak by their actions/reactions to people in their lives!! You furbaby has been mistreated by the person who babysits or someone in that house!!!! Plain and simple! Pets do not change behavior unless frightened and obviously your pet is! Staying at your side and barking at every little thing is what our babies do when frightened! I had a maintenance man and me and my girls hated him.
One day when I got home, they let me know something had happened because my babies were WRECKS!! I knew immediately that someone had been in the Apartment and called the office and sure enough he (maintenance man) had entered my home without notifying me first! He had no reason to enter according to the office and he was fired the next day. My locks were changed as well. Give your baby all the love it wants and NEVER take it back to that persons place nor allow that person in your home!!! -

I agree with the posts that you should trust your dog’s reactions — and check them out — as you (hopefully) would with a child. It is absolutely NOT as simple as you spoiling her too much. This is a distress signal. Something may well have happened with the caregiver — and may have been happening for some time. A friend of mine once left her dog at her usual kennel while she was on holiday. When she came back, her dog was a nervous wreck and NOTHING helped — not even Valium. Something had definitely occurred, and the people at the kennel were not cooperative in sorting it out. Needless to say, she never took the dog back there. She DID take her to a holistic vet who put her on herbal remedies that settled her down, and she soon returned to her usual, happy self.

That’s just common sense to know something happened to your dog with the handler. If it was me, I’d asked the person who was watching my dog….what did you do to my dog? The handler will probably deny that they did anything wrong but, nevertheless; I’d still make a big stink about it to let them know and also that they’ve lost my business.

I have a 12 year old yorkie mix and she became a nervous wreck one day and started panting and shaking. I was scared she was having a heart attack since the vet I used then said she had a heart problem. I rushed her to Blue Pearl Animal Hospital and $450.00 later they said she did not have any heart problem, it was anxiety attack. They recommended I give her Rescue Remedy for Pets, it is a organic formula to help dogs calm down. I gave her some and she is back to normal. You can only find it at health food stores or on Amazon. Try it and you will see how much calmer she is. If she only gets upset around that girl, it is time to find someone new.
